DGM awards RUFBetten with the Box Spring and Climate Protection Seal

Rastatt, 16 Mar. 2017 (trg). Quality that’s signed and sealed. Quality our customers can always rely on. That is the number one objective of DGM (Deutsche Gütegemeinschaft Möbel e. V. – German Association for Furniture Quality). Since the early 1970s, the German bed specialist RUFBetten has already bears the RAL Quality Mark “Golden M” of DGM. Now, the test institute has awarded two further seals to the company: The “Original DGM Box Spring” and member of “DGM Climate Pact”.

Box spring beds – There are a lot of them on the market just now, and that means great confusion amongst end consumers. What makes a good box spring? And what should you stay away from? To give customers some guidance, DGM has now introduced a quality label that is only issued to manufacturers whose box spring beds have been examined closely, and also comply with the strict DGM requirements. RUFBetten is proud to carry this label. All RUFBetten box spring beds have been tested, certified and fully comply with the quality requirements of DGM.

Membership in the DGM Climate Pact contributes to environmental protection

The bed manufacturer received another award for climate protection. RUFBetten supports the “Climate Pact for the Furniture Industry” of the DGM (Deutsche Gütegemeinschaft Möbel e. V. – German Association for Furniture Quality). With this initiative, the members seek to support the federal government’s climate targets and the United Nation’s 1.5 degree target. The basis of the engagement for climate protection is to account for the reduce greenhouse gas emissions. RUFBetten has carried this out, and received its carbon footprint (CO2 footprint). “With its participation in the DGM Climate Pact, RUFBetten makes a significant contribution for the environment. Now, it can also demonstrate this commitment to its customers with the DGM Climate Label,” says DGM (Deutsche Gütegemeinschaft Möbel e. V. – German Association for Furniture Quality).
